- The potential for development at this site was low, primarily because of the number of back gardens that would be required in order to make it work.
- Through careful discussions with the landowners (one of which was the local Council), a proposal was agreed to enable an application for planning to be made on the land as a whole.
- By following planning policy to maximise the use of land, agreement was reached with the local planners and the Town Council.
- The planning consent achieved was for six terraced houses.
