An affordable housing development which evolved from an original proposal for an open market sale housing scheme. When the housing recession struck in 2008, we had to decide how we could take the site forward. We approached a local Housing Association and together with them and the Local Authority Planning and Housing teams, we developed a scheme of 19 dwellings (18 houses and one FOG) which provided much needed genuine affordable housing for local people. We obtained planning consent and commenced on site in earnest in October 2010, with the last house being handed over in June 2011.
